ONIC PH has emerged as the champion in the Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) Mobile Masters Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) 2025 event after defeating 11 of the world’s best teams and appearing dominant over the Indonesian finalist, RRQ Hoshi, in the best-of-seven (Bo7) Grand Final match. This victory confirmed ONIC PH as the world champion and took home the largest share of the total prize of USD $200,000.
“RRQ is a very strong team. It is very difficult to beat their extraordinary game. Almost all of today’s matches were tight. We were able to win because we were able to play better than them,” said Kelra, Gold Laner from ONIC PH.
ONIC PH started their journey on April 7 with an extraordinary performance in the group stage without being defeated and securing a place in the playoffs directly. On April 12, they defeated fellow Filipino team, Team Falcons PH, with a score of 3-1 despite being behind in the first game. K1NGKONG’s stunning performance using the hero Fanny was the main highlight of the match.
In the Grand Final round, ONIC PH faced RRQ Hoshi who was fully supported by fans at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan, Jakarta. With a mature strategy and solid game, ONIC PH managed to close the match with a score of 4-1 and took home the title of SPS Mobile Masters MLBB 2025 champion.
The thrilling finale was watched by thousands of live and online roro4d viewers around the world. The event also set a new record for ESL FACEIT Group with the highest peak concurrent online viewers (CCU) in their history, reaching over 2,700,000 viewers. All three days of the event were sold out, totaling 7,500 tickets.
In addition to the main match, SPS Mobile Masters 2025 also presents various free entertainment for visitors, such as mini games areas, karaoke, and music concerts. This event also supports local talents through performances by five selected indie bands whose songs were played during the broadcast, as well as performing live on stage and receiving a prize of IDR 1 million.
In collaboration with ProPublic Academy, SPS Mobile Masters 2025 also presents class sessions for MLBB fans who want to explore game strategies and learn tips on becoming a professional player.
